Music Minute: Brady Rymer and the Little Band that Could - Let's Make a Better World

Three-time GRAMMY nominees Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could are kicking off 2021 in an optimistic fashion with a remake of Earl King & Dr. John's classic “Let’s Make a Better World.” The song’s unifying message, call-to-action lyrics (“sing, sing, sing!”) and feel-good groove make it the perfect anthem to usher in a new year and a hopeful time.

With lyrics like, “Let's all pitch in and do our thing and make a better world to live in,” it also becomes a meaningful, fun addition to the kids and family music songbook. Brady produced the track virtually with members of the Little Band That Could (Claudia Mussen, Liz Queler, Seth Farber, Jeremy Chatzky, Larry Eagle, and Dan Myers) adding their parts from their various homes in upstate New York, Massachusetts, Brooklyn and New Jersey. To amplify the song’s celebratory vibe, they added a New Orleans style horn section and a new vocal arrangement.

The music video was filmed outside under social distancing guidelines in Riverside Park, NYC.  As Brady hopes, “May we all ‘sing, sing, sing’ together in 2021!
