Amazing Apps: WokeHero

February is the month of love. Valentine’s Day is a chance to celebrate the people we love in our lives, but what about the love we show to ourselves?

The self-love experts at WokeHero have created a community built in part in finding our inner heroes through constructive understanding of the ways we love ourselves and how we process the love we receive. Because the most important relationship you have is with yourself.

Through a series of workshops, therapist and relationship expert Avantika Dixit, helps people find love in themselves, detox from toxic love, and unlock the secrets of transformational love. She has spent years honing a system that can lead to radical self-acceptance and authenticity and heal old wounds, all while helping heroes evolve to higher romantic and personal relationships.

As we prepare to celebrate love in all of its forms, now might be the perfect time to talk about ways to improve the love we feel for ourselves and start the journey to overcoming the negativity and divisiveness that is currently preventing us from fully feeling love the way we are meant to.

I had a chance to interview Avantika to learn more.

Question 1:  Can you explain a little bit about the name you chose for the Brand/ Platform?

Answer: In my quest to look for relevant solutions for the Global Existential Crisis, I looked at various models. Leadership, Spirituality, Wellness, Self Actualization and even Entertainment & Lifestyle. I found the Hero's Journey model to be the best container for the story of this millennium.

The word Woke was added to the urban dictionary in 2017 and it has so many connotations for a rise in consciousness, awareness and progressiveness, while also being part of the lexicon of my target audience.

The Word Hero is used as a noun (protagonists disrupting this millennium), as a verb (the act of Hero-ing ones' wellness, love and impact) and as an adjective for attributes of Grit, Grace and Disruptive Leadership.

Hence the name Woke Hero!

Question 2: Why is it important to have a Therapy Platform targeted specifically towards a certain age group?

Answer: Every Century has its own story and heroes who shape that story. Woke Hero is helping write the story of this Millennium, this century. Future Forward Social Therapy for heroes disrupting this Millennium.

They are usually in their first 2 quarters of life, because they are here to be relevant for the next 50 years or more. Typically, a woke hero is disrupting old-world paradigms rapidly and bears the battle scars of that accelerated pace of transition.

A woke hero has a range of mental health issues, high risk for lifestyle diseases, but is also unlocking the potential for living beyond a 100. Woke heroes are here to evolve to higher love, falls in and out of love frequently, has experienced rejection, heart break and abuse, wants a meaningful relationship. They don't believe in organized religion, yearn for evolution and actualization. A Woke hero values experience more than things. Has a desire to live abundantly and have a positive impact on the world. Is a tech native but has tech fatigue, seeks meaning and purpose, doesn't want the rat race, believes in social justice and environment sustainability. wants Ikigai.

These generations have been researched for profit, manipulation and as social data-horses more extensively than any other generation in history!

Woke Hero is on a mission to set these generations up for success. Unprecedented heroes need unprecedented support without agenda. The future of our world literally depends on it!

Question 3: How do areas like personal growth and social improvement intersect and why is it important to recognize that?

Answer: Great question. I am a big picture person. When I was in Big Tech Corp, spearheading enterprises towards next gen tech, I spent 15 years leading a millennial work force of 35000 people globally. It was very evident for me to recognize the interplay between individual and collective success.

And then I spent the last 5 years in a hugely successful private practice with thousands of hero journeys supported globally. I identified distinct collective patterns emerge as a universal phenomenon impacting a critical mass of people. These can only be classified as a massive awakening crisis, first and second quarter life crises; and a global disruption syndrome. And I can tell you that regardless of whether its from a swanky Manhattan condo, or an African savannah or the Canadian Rockies or a slum in Mumbai or a small town in New Zealand…woke heroes have been popping up everywhere…and they have many things in common.

Call this Vision, Strategy, Altruism or a stroke of Genius. Choose your reason. But I am all about the interplay of the critical journey of individuation, which is where one un-hypnotizes, disrupts the matrix and groupthink. And the second critical journey of unification, which is where one un-polarizes and flows in sync and oneness with the greater whole. Both are key components of coming into wholeness, harmony and balance within and with the holographic universe.

So there are intersection pieces in our programs for Return on Impact. The bigger the sphere of influence, the greater the return.

So this is what sets Woke Hero apart. We approach actualization from the perspective of individuation and disruption management, while also tapping into the global journey.

The only Social Therapy and Living Evolution Platform for a generation of Disrupted World Changers
