Book Nook: Strawberry Pencil Magic

I recently had a chance to see a few books by Strawberry Pencil Magic. The books are really colorful and imaginative. The books I read were, quite honestly, the kinds of kids' books kids would write for each other. Not many other children's books have captured imagination quite from the inside of a child's head like these have. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of imaginative books for kids and great books for kids out there, but they're all like adults telling stories to kids - these are like kids telling stories to kids. It's a small distinction, but it sets these books apart.

The illustrations are fun and add to the store, and I think these books are the perfect kinds of books to inspire kids' own storytelling and imagination by realizing that even their completely off-the-wall ideas have a place.
