Consumer Critique: Nora's Naturals Coffee

A good cup of coffee (or three) is our saving grace on a busy day. It helps keep us energized, focused and ready for whatever the day has ahead. My husband is always up for trying out new coffee brands, so we were thrilled to be able to try Nora’s Naturals Coffee, founded by performance enhancement and nutrition specialist Nora Tobin. It is a single origin organic coffee harvested on a multigenerational family farm in the Nicaraguan Finca La Isabela mountain range and roasted in Santa Barbara.

Nora’s Naturals Coffee is a unique blend of cocoa and citrus. The coffee beans are grown in volcanic soil, making it rich in silica, a mineral essential to the production of anti-aging collagen in the body. The blend contains high amounts of immune strengthening polyphenols and is high in antioxidants

My husband enjoyed the taste. He likes the variety of different coffee blends and different coffee brands and said this is definitely one he'd drink again. We also loved that 3% of all Nora’s Naturals profits are donated to the Environmental Defense Fund and that they are Rainforest Alliance and Smithsonian Bird Certified.

Nora’s Naturals Coffee comes in 10 ounces of either light or dark roast, with your selection of ground or whole beans.

And in case you want some extra reason to have that daily cup of coffee, here are some perks (pun intended) of coffee:

  • Coffee increases production of dopamine and norepinephrine (mood boosting hormones) by blocking the inhibitory neurotransmitter adenosine.
  • Coffee decreases migraines and headaches due to its healthy caffeine content.
  • Coffee improves memory, reaction time and general cognitive function.
  • Coffee boosts energy levels and motivation, helping improve mental health.
  • Coffee provides a 65% decrease in Alzheimers and dementia
