Michelle Hsu, Chief Executive Officer of Wee Lions, announced the launch of their online early learning program that ignites parent-child relationships in ways that challenge conventional thinking and nurture worldview perspectives in children. The program delivers a research-based curriculum that easily fits into daily activities, such as talking, reading, playing, taking walks, shopping, etc. By aligning family routines with the curriculum, parents turn regular interactions with their children into invigorating opportunities to see, think and imagine possibilities in the world around them.
Wee Lions’ innovative “See Think Imagine” approach nurtures a child’s natural wonder and curiosity, and invites conversation, observation and inquiry that leads to discovery. According to Hsu, “Knowing that a curious mind is geared for growth, our dedicated staff of early childhood experts took proven education practices and presented them in a program that empowers parents, so their children become innovative thinkers and problem-solvers.”
Curriculum Director Michele de Miranda adds, “The Wee Lions program not only gives children the opportunity to experience the joy of discovery, it provides that same opportunity for us parents as well.” Wee Lions’ literature-aligned curriculum takes children through three years of exploratory learning from ages 3-6. This process equips them with critical thinking and relational skills that set the foundation for future learning and lifetime success.
Parent-Child Education Coach, Betsy Purpero shares, “Not only will parents get a robust curriculum, they will also receive helpful tips and coaching to feel equipped and excited to be the best teacher for their child.”
Parents will receive guidance through blog posts, actionable tips, and webinars that address things like finding the right time to learn, how to ask questions, or how to get your children motivated to read. Topics and themes align with the curriculum so parents will get tools to effectively teach their child and enjoy the learning process together. |
