Book Nook: Kobee Manatee

 I recently had the chance to see a copy of Kobee Manatee, a book that wants to educate young readers about the ocean.

The book is a story with a plot that follows Kobee through the ocean. There aren't any major plot twists, but it's effective for showing the ocean and the challenges that ocean creatures face. The book touches on a variety of environment-related topics - climate change, plastic pollution, etc. There are extra facts on every page, so it's a book that works for younger kids as a read-aloud, or for older kids reading it to themselves and learning more on each page.

If you have budding ocean explorers or just want to help them learn more about the planet, this is a good book!
