Book Nook: The Old Farmer's Almanac for Kids, Vol 9

I recently had a chance to review The Old Farmer’s Almanac for Kids, Vol 9. My younger daughter loves non-fiction and my older daughter is interested in science and trivia, so it was a great book for both of them. There was plenty of content - animals, weather, puzzles, activities, and more, and it kept both of them engaged for quite a while.

My older daughter loved the tiger on the cover - she loves big cats. She skipped right to anything that had to do with nature and pets. My younger daughter really enjoyed the stories about people around the world. I loved that there were some ideas about kindness, and I even learned some trivia about the Olympics. If you have kids that enjoy reading about food or gross things, or pretty much any facet of life, they'll find something interesting in this book.

As always, The Old Farmer’s Almanac for Kids was created for young folks to enjoy on their own or with a parent, grandparent, older sibling, or educator.

The Old Farmer’s Almanac for Kids, Vol. 9, is available for $9.95 USD/$10.95 CAD at retail stores and in the children’s section of bookstores. Folks can also order copies from Almanac.com or from Amazon in the U.S. or Canada
