I recently had a chance to review two new installments in the Ten-Step Drawing Series.
With Ten-Step Drawing: Manga, artists to create an array of manga characters, step by easy step. From manga, chibi, and anime-style characters and scenes to mastering proportions, props, and costumes, manga lovers will delight in the varied selection of subjects; as well as how easy it is to recreate them in ten simple drawing steps.
With Ten-Step Drawing: Everyday Things, learn to create an array of ordinary and familiar subjects, step by easy step. From teapots, flowers, and plants to bicycles, trees, and more, beginning artists will delight in the varied selection of subjects; as well as how easy it is to recreate them in ten simple drawing steps.
These books were great. I was even able to make some halfway-decent drawings using these steps (and that's saying a lot, because I draw like a kindergartner). The prompts are written in a way to be helpful without stifling individual creativity, and the size of the books means that they're easy to bring along where you go. They're great for people of any artistic ability!
