Consumer Critique: Gadgets for Back-to-School

Now that we've been back to school for a few weeks, it's a good chance to look at gadgets to improve the study experience - or give a study break!

I had a chance to see the LumiCharge II, an all-in-one desk lamp. Its multi-functional features mean that it saves space - it provides a place to charge phones using a universal charging dock and has a wireless fast charger that can work for two phones at once. It hardly takes up any space, and can be turned onto cool, warm, and yellow settings to change with the different ambient lighting in your home. It's easy to adjust brightness and position, and it even has a motion sensor to save energy or provide convenience. It can act as an alarm and calendar, even informing of the temperature. There's also a T2W model with a bluetooth speaker to put even more gadgets in one.

Blinks is the world's first smart tabletop game system with 30 games – built with AI-powered intelligent game pieces that respond to your touch, communicate with each other, and think for themselves. Every piece knows its own game and can learn new games. Blinks are portable and completely modular, so the more Blinks you have, the bigger games and experiences you can create anywhere you are. The starter set of 9 games is now $149.

LilGadgets Headphones: Compact, foldable, non-pinching, with snag-free cushioning and comfy fixed-ear cup design, LilGadgets have a max volume of 93db.
