Consumer Critique: Librio Personalized Books

Whether it’s a wild adventure with pirates, helping animals in magical forests or travelling the world learning about foreign cultures, little ones can do extraordinary things in Librio’s children’s books. Taking on the lead roles in these beautifully illustrated picture books, any child can be the hero. I had a chance to to through the personalization and creation process on the site, and I was very impressed with how easy the process was - and the book I received looks great! You can choose hair color and style, eye color, skin tone, glasses, freckles, wheelchair, and hearing aids (and, of course, name). There are over 8000 combinations, but it's very quick to sort through. There are enough titles to find something any recipient will enjoy - and it's a great gift, especially for kids with more unique names that are harder to find.

The books are available in a variety of languages, which is really unique - you can even get dialects like Bavarian German! The book is shipped within 10 days - and while that might not be fast enough for those of you celebrating Christmas, they do have a Plan B - a personalized voucher with the cover printed so that it helps build anticipation for the recipient.

Librio has created over 250,000 books for children in 90 countries since launching in 2017.
Recommended for curious adventurers aged 0-8. Available from $24.99 on www.librio.com.

All Librio products and packaging are made from 100% recycled post-consumer waste materials. We print locally in the US, UK, Germany, and Australia to reduce the distance our products have to travel. In addition, Librio donates 2.5% of our revenue to social and environmental causes to share the love of reading and plant trees for our children’s future.

Our social partner is literacy charity Room to Read, a global organization transforming the lives of millions of children across low-income communities by unlocking their full potential through education. Our environmental partner is Trees for the Future, a charity working in sub–Saharan Africa to plant trees as part of a holistic farming program which contributes both to the environment globally and to the economy locally.

We’re incredibly proud to have donated over 250,000 books and planted over 250,000 trees through our fantastic partners.
