“Mrs Bun the Baker cookery School was founded in 2014, at the time I was Head of food technology at a secondary school and my son was young and I was constantly dropping him off places and not spending time with him, so I wanted to do something that worked around him and also showed children how they can cook as I had taught my son, as a lot of children were coming into school, not knowing how to use an oven or a hob, or even a tin opener.
“Everyone can build confidence and start their passion for food, which they’ll hopefully take with them on their life’s journey… after all, we all need to feed ourselves.”

About the author:
Mrs Bun the Baker is a teacher of cookery classes, running her own cookery school in South Oxfordshire and since lockdown, many online too. She just loves to bake and lets others know the tips and hints to make their baking easy too. When she isn’t baking which isn’t often, she will be running 5km or tending the allotment in the back garden. As well as looking after Mr Bun. Son Bun and Cookie Bun the rabbit.
