I recently had the chance to review No Crowns in the Castle, a book for couples on building strong relationships.
One thing I definitely liked about the book was that it was written by two people, each with their own distinct voice and opinions on their relationship. The book bounced back and forth between the two quite frequently, which sometimes was a little bit too fast - it felt occasionally like there wasn't a strong sense of momentum with either side. However, it did mean that readers can get an instant sense of how both of them felt about a particular incident or issue.
The book had a very conversational, casual feel, and the authors were up front about their experiences in a relationship. That aspect made it very easy to read, and very helpful - almost like it was a couple of friends sharing advice.
You can get a taste of the book for yourself at the link above, where you can download the first chapter for free!
