I recently had the chance to review A Year of Living Green: 365 Things You Can Do for Yourself and the Planet . As someone who keeps trying to make small steps for improvement, this book was preaching to the choir.
I really liked the format. Obviously not everyone is going to be able to do exactly one of these tips per day, but by spreading it out over the year, it makes things more manageable. Instead of radical overhaul, small efforts throughout the year add up to more eco-friendly living. A lot of the things I was already doing, but there were still a few things in the book that were new to our family - and manageable to do!
If you want to live a little greener, this book has practical, actionable steps that you can take on that journey.
