Consumer Critique: The Ultra Power Battle Game

I recently had a chance to review  The Ultra Power Battle Game. The game comes conveniently in a double pack so kids can play with their friends, even if their friends don't have their own. There are two wrist-wrap battle bands that have a power dial, and 12 mystery tokens. If you remember Pogs, the tokens are a little like that. The different sides of the tokens represent different powers that can be risked in the flipping battle round, and players can purchase Booster Packs to build a stronger arsenal, or collect the battle bands themselves, which come in a variety of color combinations.

The actual game is kind of fun and super easy. Even little kids will be able to have the motor skills to make it work (the game is designed for ages 5 and up). It's a low-cost toy, and kids who like the idea of collecting things will be able to afford the low cost of the Booster Packs - plus, the game tokens themselves don't take up much space.
