codeSpark Academy – an award-winning ed-tech platform that teaches kids aged 4-9 the fundamentals of coding – launched their first-ever virtual classes to teach kids code, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. As summer break approaches, this new offering makes for the perfect fun and educational activity to keep kids busy outside of the classroom.
In honor of the launch, new users can try a class and the award-winning learn to code app free for 30 days (began on May 5). After the 30-day trial, users can renew into a monthly class + app plan for $19.99/month.
For more details - Each 45-minute class allows kids to create their own games and story projects through game development principles – and learn code while doing so. The most unique aspect of the classes is the high level of collaboration between kids as they play and test each other’s games, learn to provide constructive feedback and present their final projects to one another. The classes are led by America’s best schoolteachers with a background in early childhood education and computer science.
