Sandy Sandler, creator of Bowdabra, has put together several Father’s Day craft projects.
“Dads are always the most difficult to buy presents for. An easy solution – do not purchase a gift, rather make one instead,” Sandy suggests. “Father’s Day is the perfect holiday to surprise dads with homemade crafts. Dads are always so proud of their children, and they feel especially honored when they see their kids get together and make something, especially for them. It means so much to be appreciated on Father’s Day.”
Children can’t always put their appreciative feelings into words, so crafts are the perfect way for them to give back and express their love for their fathers, Sandy believes.

This outdoor hide-a-key makes a unique Father's Day gift. Finding camouflage supplies is half the fun of creating this great gift. And you're helping the environment by recycling a pill bottle.

Why is making a craft such a good gift idea for Fathers' Day?
The kids build self-esteem by creating the craft project as a gift for dad and there is nothing Dad appreciates more than a handmade gift from his kids.
How can kids make projects that are personalized and practical?
Kids can create wonderful collages of photos from a favorite vacations or decorate golf balls so dad always knows which balls are his.
