Book Nook: The Wild + Free Family

From Ainsley Arment, founder of Wild + Free  and co-host of the Wild + Free podcast comes THE WILD + FREE FAMILY: Forging Your Own Path to a Life Full of Wonder, Adventure, and Connection. I recently had a chance to review this guide, which is full of practical suggestions and imaginative ideas for building wonder and adventure into your children’s daily routine.

Being a Wild + Free family isn't just about unschooling, going off-the-grid, or anything like that. It's for everyone - any parent or caregiver who wants an intentional way to connect with their kids. A lot of times it is about letting the child take the lead and unplugging from screens, but it's more than just that. The book talks about family culture, a sense of wonder, stopping negative generational cycles, finding purpose, and more.

It's a great book for any family, because it has ways to  incorporate the ideas regardless of where your family is at. It's very much about finding what works for your individual family and then making it even better.

Ainsley Arment is the founder and leader of Wild + Free and co-host of the weekly Wild + Free Podcast. As she leads this movement of raising her kids and homeschooling in a new way, she thinks deeply about making the most out of life and ensuring that her children have a fertile seedbed for their own uniqueness and creativity. She and her husband Ben are raising their five kids, Wyatt, Dylan, Cody, Annie, and Millie, in Virginia Beach. For more go to Wild + Free or Instagram.
