Consumer Critique: Sun Hat

It's really important to have good sun protection, no matter where in the world you live. You want to protect your skin from sunburn, and shade can also help you feel cooler. Some hats are bulky or heavy, or they don't offer much ventilation so your head gets all sweaty.

I recently had a chance to review this lightweight sun hat. I really liked it. Overall, the hat was comfortable. It's made of a lightweight material so it's cool, and it has ventilation mesh so your head doesn't get too sweaty. The chin strap is sewn in securely, so it's not going to pull out, and although there's some movement on the chin if it's loose, you can tighten it to keep it secure on a windy day. The brim is wide enough to provide a lot of coverage when it's sunny, and if you don't need as much shade it has snaps on the side that let you fold up the brim so it's not so wide.

This hat is also great because it has a unisex styling so it's appropriate for anyone to wear. The lightweight fabric also means that it will dry quickly if it gets wet, and it is really lightweight to pack for travel or in a backpack while hiking.

The hat is a pretty good value too; it's definitely a hat I would consider for my sun protection needs in the summer! It has all the features I need in a sun hat, and even a few I wouldn't have thought of.
