For many students, the future can be exciting but a bit scary. Students feel the pressure to decide what they want to do for the rest of their lives at an early age, and that decision about their future careers can be daunting and overwhelming. “Planted: Finding Your Roots in STEM Careers,” a podcast from The Morton Arboretum, will introduce students to some plant professionals with amazing careers.
In the first episode of season three, Seed Your Future's Executive Director Jazmin Albarran discusses diverse and unique career opportunities in horticulture and plant science but, most importantly, the career fulfillment found in these industries. As Executive Director of Seed Your Future, Jazmin leads a nationwide movement to promote horticulture and inspire people to consider a career with plants and flowers.
