Movie Minute: Paul's Promise (Amazon Gift Card Giveaway)

  I had the chance to see a screener of the upcoming movie, Paul's Promise. The movie shares the true story of Paul Holderfield, a bigoted firefighter-turned-pastor, who started one of the first integrated churches in the South.

Set in the peak of the 1960s Civil Rights movement, it’s one man’s journey to hope and healing - a story  that continues to make a huge impact on the community.  

I didn't know anything about Paul before seeing this movie, and there's very little about him out there outside of this movie, but the church he started does still exist in Little Rock, and his son is currently the pastor, so his story has definitely left a legacy.

If you enjoy movies that follow true stories of faith, then check out the movie when it hits theaters starting 10/21!
