Emily decided that this year would be the year to record her first Christmas song, and she knew “Mary, Did You Know?” was one of the top contenders. The song takes her back to her childhood, growing up at church and hearing this song sung every year. She feels It is such a powerful testimony of what faith can do in the Christmas season. This year, in particular, this song has brought her joy, as she fought tough battles due to health issues over the second half of the year. Just like Mary many years ago, she had to be faithful to the lessons God was teaching her every day.

This new version released by Emily Miller was produced by Jake Parshall of Parshall Productions. Session musicians on the song included Will Houchens (piano/strings), Tim Galloway (acoustics) and Molly Brown (background vocals). Mastering was completed by Frank Gagliardi of Fuselage Mastering.
