Effective immediately, Cowboy Channel+, an international over-the-top subscription video streaming service focused on western sports and lifestyle programming, will offer a new all-inclusive subscription package to rodeo fans worldwide. Called the “Everything We Got” package, this new annual subscription bundle will include a dynamic lineup of live rodeo and western sports programming from around the United States, Canada, and Brazil, along with exclusive original content and an in-depth on-demand library on Cowboy Channel+.
“Rural Media Group now has signed five-year agreements with several major rodeo associations, including the PRCA, CPRA, Brazilian Rodeo, and the NHSRA, which enables us to bring our viewers and rodeo fans the most comprehensive television and digital coverage in western sports,” said Patrick Gottsch, Founder of Rural Media Group. “We finally know our costs and content for the next five years, which makes the Everything We Got subscription possible, and, what I believe, the easiest option for those looking for all access to every event our networks broadcast and live stream.”
The $119.99 all-inclusive annual subscription to Cowboy Channel+ will now include:
- The National Finals Rodeo (NFR)
- Live streaming + on-demand of all programming on The Cowboy Channel
- Live streaming + on-demand of all programming on The Cowgirl Channel
- PRCA – up to 950 different regular season ProRodeo performances (big, medium, and small)
- CPRA – 28 Canadian regular season Pro Rodeo performances
- The Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR)
- Brazilian Professional Rodeos: 10 LNR-produced rodeos and bull riding events around Brazil, including Barretos
- National High School Finals Rodeo
- National Junior High School Finals Rodeo
- Little Britches Rodeo
- Junior NFR
- World’s Largest PRCA Archive on VOD
- Spanish Language Feeds for the Top 10 PRCA Rodeos
- And much, much more
Before the Everything We Got package, subscribers to Cowboy Channel+ were required to pay $99.99 for an annual subscription plus another $99.99 for the NFR, as Rural Media Group has three different rights fees to pay to PRCA alone. The PRCA then uses those right fees to enhance the organization, with much of the different payments being passed on to the rodeo committees and then cowboys and cowgirls as payouts are being increased along with improvements to rodeo grounds, infrastructure, and more. There were also additional individual streaming fees for NHSRA, CPRA, Brazilian Rodeo, Junior NFR, etc. As new agreements were finalized, it was time to examine the pricing model and app structure. Under the new Everything We Got all-inclusive subscription package, all rodeo associations and programming are still getting their individual fees, but now, all pricing has been combined on the front end to streamline the subscription process for Cowboy Channel+ subscribers.
Current annual and monthly subscribers can instantly upgrade their subscriptions to take advantage of this new deal on the platform they signed up on. Subscribers wishing to continue with a monthly or their existing annual subscription will also get all the new content in this package, excluding The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
In addition to the new Cowboy Channel+ “Everything We Got” subscription, Cowboy Channel+ is also adding another new feature and now offering the opportunity for people to purchase gift cards for the app. As gift cards are purchased online by visiting www.cowboychannelplus.com/gift
