This month see the release of a brand-new children’s adventure book ‘The Adventure of Flossie the Flower’. Aimed at children aged 1 – 6 years old the book is the first in a series by authors Robert Boland and Kirsty Boland which looks set to help parents teach and inform their toddlers about nature, forest, flowers and animals.
Flossie the Flower lives by the famous Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands and is protected by Nessie the monster and her family – Nancy, Bessie and Basher.
Children will love to embrace the charming characters of the book and join them on their travels of adventure and fun. The story takes the reader on outings and journeys all over Scotland, visiting sacred sites, fairy ponds and glens and will fire even the youngest of imaginations.
Author Robert Boland said "I wrote the story for my new granddaughter who absolutely loved it so I have decided to publish it as the first book in a series of further adventures which I hope many other children and parents will enjoy”.

About the Author (in his own words)
I'm a retired chef living in Glasgow and have a wonderful new granddaughter called Aurora. This is my debut children’s book which I had written for Aurora but am pleased that many other children around the world can now enjoy. I have lots of new adventure ideas for the characters so there further additions to the series coming soon.
