Generational differences are becoming starker as Americans continue to work from home. A new report found Gen Z may lead to the death of the home office.
Highlights include:
- 72% have worked from their couches, 63% have taken calls from their bed
- 1 in 4 have worked from the toilet, and admit to taking calls from the toilet
- 90% have worked in their pajamas, and 18% admit to working naked
And Gen Z’s reputation for being lazy in the workplace may be warranted. 1 in 10 Gen Zers uses a mouse jiggler to make it look like they’re working, and 1 in 4 is paranoid that their employer is spying on them.
Gen Z isn’t alone in this casual take on work. The survey includes more stats on what remote workers are doing while on the clock (laundry, napping and sex top of the list) and their take on return to office mandates
