I had never had sardines before, so I didn't know what to expect. My kids got a kick out of the idea of eating the entire fish. It took a little bit for them to get used to the texture, but when I made it into a fish spread (like a tuna salad), then they liked it better.
Sardines are actually pretty healthy, with a lot of vitamin B12, vitamin D, calcium, and omega-3s. Canned fish are an easy way to keep seafood on hand, too. The brand also has a lot of helpful seafood recipes to inspire you to add more seafood to your diets.
