I love trying different foods, so I was thrilled to be able to review a variety of products from Wildfare. The company has a wide variety of offerings, and I was able to try a fun collection.
The only things that weren't a hit with the family were the olives. My husband likes olives, so he liked both the traditional and orange-stuffed olives, but the rest of us don't. However, if you like olives, they have 11 different varieties to choose from!
I loved the freeze dried cherries. I had previously eaten dried cherries, but not freeze dried. They had a fun crunch, which added a nice texture to oatmeal, and they were delicious plain too.
The company makes high-quality olive oils, pasta, preserves, spreads, and more. The bruschetta spread was delicious on oven-toasted French bread, I really liked the fig spread, and they have a hazelnut butter that has a creamy, smooth texture and a perfectly-sweet taste.
Other than the olives, everything else was popular with everyone in my family. The olives were enjoyed by my mom and husband, so nothing went to waste!
Right now Wildfare is only available in select markets, but hopefully they will expand. I'd love to see them in the Midwest soon! The products are high-quality and delicious, and if they show up in my grocery store I'll definitely buy them. For now, I'll just check out their recipes to add variety to my cooking rotation.
