Amazon has announced the highly anticipated Toys We Love list which helps Amazon customers pinpoint the perfect gifts for all ages ahead of the holiday season. This year’s list features more than 200 toys from beloved brands like LEGO, Mattel, and Disney, as well as small businesses like Magna-Tiles, Taco vs. Burrito, Thames & Kosmos, and Orijin Bees, as well as 100 brand new toys and 80 toys found exclusively at Amazon.
Each year, the Amazon toys team scours nearly 12 million toys and games in the Amazon U.S. store to curate the annual Toys We Love List.
The list reflects a variety of the biggest trends Amazon has seen this year, including:
- Pop culture moments from Barbie to Taylor: From Barbiecore to friendship bracelets popularized by Taylor Swift’s ERAS Tour, to the 100th anniversary of Disney, the list reflects these big cultural moments including the Amazon exclusive Barbie Science Lab Playset, the Pop Style Bracelet Maker, and the Disney 100 Wonderful World of Color Tinker Bell.
- Box office openings inspire 90’s nostalgia: Nostalgic 90s toys are in high demand due to big box office moments this year, like Super Mario Bros., Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. These are reflected in the list including the Super Mario Bros. Movie 7-inch Bowser Action Figure, theTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem Be a Ninja Roleplay Set, and the Transformers Beast-Mode Bumblebee.
- Minis are having a BIG moment: Tiny, adorable minis, such as the MGA Entertainment Miniverse Make It Mini Multipack, are all the rage.
- Zenning out at all ages: Also popular are comforting, stress-relieving toys, whether plushies like the Sesame Street Monster Meditation Elmo, sensory objects like the Creativity for Kids Outer Space Sensory Bin, or a peaceful building set for “kidults” like the LEGO Icons Tranquil Garden.
