Storytime is a sacred tradition among parents and their children. Which books are the most beloved in the nation for storytime?
A new report found which children’s books are the most popular in every state:
- Winnie-the-Pooh is the most popular children’s book in the U.S.
- Clifford the Big Red Dog is most popular in 7 states, and especially the Midwest
- Dr. Seuss is the most popular children’s book author
Over half of parents in the U.S. read to their children daily. 89% have storytime as part of their child’s routine, and 85% incorporate storytime before bed. While only 15% of parents say their child is struggling to read currently, 1 in 4 say their children have struggled to read at some point.
Take a look at the full report to see how your state likes to read to kids.
