Website Spotlight - The Fine Print

 Although they are often long and difficult to read, you should always review a company’s fine print before you use their service or product. 

Secure Data Recovery analyzed the fine print for 100 major companies to find out which companies make their fine print long and difficult to understand. 

Key Findings:

  • TripAdvisor, Twitch, and TaskRabbit have the most difficult fine print to read.
  • Fine print for major companies has an average word count of 10,835.

  • The fine print for AT&T, Venmo, and Cash App, has word counts between 30,000 and 56,000.
  • It takes the average consumer 54 minutes to read major companies' fine print.
  • The fine print for AT&T would take the average consumer nearly 5 hours to read in full.
