The book helps readers discover the healing power of art - and how art can help process stress, uncertainty, grief, and fear. In Art for Self-Care, artist, designer, and online instructor Jessica Swift outlines a path to healing through artmaking for both artists and non-artists alike. What I really liked about this book was that you don't have to be great at art to benefit from the healing aspects of creativity. I'm not great at art, but the book was still really helpful to work through - and gave me the courage to become more visually creative as well.
