Caring Connections - Photo Gifts

I recently had a chance to interview Rick Voight, CEO of Vivid-Pix, about photo gifts for the holidays.

Why are photo-related items such good gifts?

Photos are snapshots of many of the most important times in our lives. Remembering these moments provides us the opportunity to reconnect with the moment and people in our lives.

Unfortunately, many of our most treasured photo memories are cooped up in closets or dusty photo albums. The Vivid-Pix Memory Station™ was designed to make it simple to scan / restore / record voice memories / share these cherished memories.

A couple of the largest pressures that older adults feel is doing something with their lifetime of memories and leaving a legacy, learnings, to loved ones and future generations. Memory Station simplifies this dilemma.

What are some creative ways to gift restored photos?

Once digitized and restored, gift options are near limitless!

Creating special event recollection or lifetime photo books, digital photo frames, framed photos / calendars / beverage mugs / playing cards / other are just a few of the options available to gift.

How can photos help inspire intergenerational family relationships?

Often younger people cannot grasp that an older person was once young… photos bring it all into focus.

Conversation of similarities and outlook create intergenerational connection.

Along the way, the older adult can impart some wisdom and beliefs, the younger person can share what their world is like today, and with better understanding, furthering a relationship is created.
