Earlier this year, I posted about Old World Christmas and their efforts to bring Christmas cheer to one special family. I had a chance to see a few of their ornaments, and I wanted to share my thoughts.
The company specializes in blown glass ornaments - glass blown into a special mold, silver added, and then hand painted and glittered. The ornaments have a distinctive style with a retro vibe, and while they may not suit everyone's taste, they definitely try. The company sells ornaments with nearly every theme imaginable - hobbies, professions, interests, licensed characters, food, travel, and more.
One of my kids loves art and the other recently started a pre-career firefighter training program. They have several art-themed ones available, and three different fire-themed ornaments. They even offer personalization to make an ornament more unique and tailored to the recipient. The painting detail was amazing, and the glitter and sparkle were appropriate and not overdone. I'll definitely check out their ornaments in the future, especially for those recipients that it's hard to find something for!
