I recently had a chance to see a sample of Peels Mats™. The mats provide a stylish way to keep your home clean. They're inspired by the experience of working in sterile environments. It uses the ability of sticky mats to create a dust-free area, but makes it look nice like a regular doormat. The sheets trap debris and also have antimicrobial properties.
They certainly work well. We have a pet who is sometimes really skittish and I was curious how she would react - she walked a little funny on it at first, and kind of tried to avoid it a few times, but it didn't take her long to walk right over it (she reacts that way to pretty much any new surface though). The design is cute too. And it's nice that one mat lasts for a while (in our house we got a little bit longer than the average use out of each sheet, by pre-wiping boots and shoes before we got to it).
