Enriching Education - Learning Loss Survey

 A new nationwide survey finds 1 in 3 parents remain concerned about their child’s pandemic-related learning loss in 2024. 

  • More than 1 in 10 parents say their child is still reading below average for their age
  • Nearly 30% of parents struggle to get their child to read at home
  • Nearly 1 in 6 parents say their child has a learning disability, and data shows half of those students were diagnosed in 2022 or 2023

Tutoring is the #1 way parents are combating their child’s learning loss, but 23% say they want to see additional days added on to the school year and 17% want to eliminate summer break.
