Brazil has launched the platform through which citizens of the United States, Canada, and Australia can obtain The Electronic Visa (eVisa) to enter the country. At a cost of USD 80.90 per person and travelers can take all the processes online.
The electronic visa will allow multiple entries and will have the same validity period as conventional visas for the following nationalities:
- Canadians: 5-year period;
- Australians: 5-year period;
- Americans: 10-year period.
Americans, Canadians, and Australians must apply for the document for arrivals scheduled from April 10, 2024 onwards. The system was developed by the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the intention of simplifying the process, making it convenient, fast and easy.
