Zety, a leading career service, surveyed approximately 1,000 U.S.- based workers and found that roughly 7 out of 10 admit they suffer from Sunday Scaries Syndrome regularly. However, 14% of men claimed they had never experienced the syndrome compared to only 3% of women who say they’ve never experienced it.
65% of people say they have “a terrible day at work” at least once a week if not more.
Wednesday is considered the most productive workday, with Friday being the least productive.
94% believe that they’re more productive either in the first 4 hours or last 4 hours of the day. Only 6% said 11a-3pm was peak productivity time.
8 in 10 say Mondays are more stressful than any other day of the work week.
The most disliked day in the work week is Monday (41%).
8 in 10 respondents (81%) believe a 4-day workweek would increase their productivity and motivation.
But given a choice, 64% of respondents preferred a 5-day, 40-hour week over a 4-day, 40-hour week.
