A recent study analyzed Google search trends in every state to see where the most (suspected) narcissists live, and who Americans think could be.
Key findings:
When it comes to romantic relationships, husbands (2), boyfriends (3), wives (4), partners (5) and girlfriends (8) made the top 10 list for most common people in relationships Americans perceive to be narcissistic.
- When it comes to family relationships, moms (1), dads (6), and sisters (9), made the top 10 list.
The most common questions about narcissists are: “Can narcissists change,” "Are narcissists insecure,” and “Can narcissists be cured.”
States: South Carolina, Maryland and Texas seek the most information on narcissists in relationships.
Cities: New York City, Los Angeles and Houston seek the most information on narcissists in relationships.
