Lisa Matassa, known in the 80s as hitmaking freestyle dance star Lysa Lynn, returned to her roots of Country music and recorded an album of duets in 2015 with legendary country music artists such as Eddy Raven, The Bellamy Brothers, Johnny Lee, Mickey Gilley, Marty Raybon of Shenandoah and more. Now, in 2024, that collaboration of gems will finally make its way to fans as Matassa signed a new partnership with StarVista Music and released these songs on all digital platforms on April 5, 2024.
“I am really excited to finally get these songs out there. I wish it had been sooner, but I got sidelined with some vocal issues and had to undergo vocal surgery, which didn’t allow me to get out and promote the project like any record company would have wanted,” says Matassa. “There is no time like the present, so here we go! We even filmed an event at the Wildhorse Saloon with the artists, and that will be coming out, as well.”

Having shared the stage with Dierks Bentley, Leann Rimes, Eric Church, Ronnie Dunn, and Lee Brice, Matassa continues to write songs and finds joy in the process of making music.
