Consumer Critique: PowKids Protein

My daughter fences and is incredibly active. She knows that getting a good amount of protein can help give her long-lasting fuel for the day, so I was happy to try out PowKids.

Formulated by a Registered Dietitian and Chemist, PowKids was designed specifically for children to help kids get the nutrients they need for their growing bodies, according to their age. (This actually confused my kid, who is 14, above the age that has a suggested serving size on the back. We had a good laugh about it, and talked about how it's still healthy protein powder, whether or not she's a kid)

Available in two varieties, including Clear Protein in Passionberry and Chocolate, each protein powder is made with organic ingredients, boasts 18g grass fed whey protein, and contains no added sugar. In addition, each protein powder contains added choline to foster brain development.

The chocolate was definitely her preferred flavor. She doesn't hate berry flavors, but prefers chocolate - although it was an interesting idea to try it with juice (it made a great-tasting apple-berry juice).

It's simple, just add 1 scoop per 4-6oz of your choice of milk or juice. Shake until dissolved and enjoy. Learn more at www.PowKidsHealth.com.
