I had a chance to see a sample of the UVI Self Heating Lunch Box. It's a unique situation for being able to eat hot meals on-the-go. Simply plug it in and heat!
There are a lot of great features - it has a UV light to sterilize after washing, and also is easy to remove the cord for storing in the fridge or putting in a bag. The insulation is great, keeping food hot for a long time, and the interior divider is adjustable for different types of foods. It's leakproof, and it looks really sleek.
This would be a great little gadget for a variety of people - college students who may not always have easy access to a dorm or microwave, or people working in offices without a convenient lunchroom. I worked at a school with a single microwave on the opposite end of the building, and this would've come in handy. It does take a little bit of planning to remember to plug in before lunch, but otherwise it works great!
