Using a curated list of Disney Animated Classics and analyzing a decade of Google Trends search data, they were able to identify each state's favorite film.
Here’s what they found:
The Lion King (1994) roars to victory, claiming the top spot in 10 states.
The timeless magic of Fantasia (1940) enchants 7 states.
Tied for third place are the coming-of-age tale Bambi (1942) and the charming adventures of The Aristocats (1970), each capturing the hearts of 5 states.
