Consumer Critique - Pete the Cat Cocoa from Jittery Joe's

 As we move into the fall season, it becomes the perfect time for one of my favorite little indulgences - hot cocoa. I was excited at the chance to sample Pete the Cat Cocoa from Jittery Joe's (even if my husband was a little disappointed to discover hot cocoa when we opened the box instead of his favorite beverage - coffee - although there is Pete's Groovy Brew that we might have to order for him later).

Pete the Cat is known for fun and cool adventures in the storybooks that bear his name. The design of the tin is a fun, upbeat design that looks neat enough to leave on your counter instead of hide away in a cupboard. The cocoa itself is made from 100% Ecuadorian natural cacao. It has a really rich, smooth chocolate taste, and worked well for either hot cocoa or a cold or blended beverage. Because it has some powdered milk, you only need water (although using milk gives it an even richer, deeper flavor).

The whole family enjoyed this hot cocoa blend, even if my girls are a little old for the Pete the Cat boks!
