For the past couple weeks, my daughter has been trying out Police Simulator: Patrol Officers: Nintendo Switch™ Edition. Overall, she's been enjoying it.
She likes the progressive system for people who are new to the idea of similar games, and beginners would appreciate it. She feels like people who are more experienced with games might be a little bored by it, but that it probably was more realistic because some aspects of the police career do take a little longer to get interesting. Her sister noticed that there was a setting for keeping track of play time, which can be helpful to self-monitor. Overall, she enjoyed the game play and has played it several times a week, unlocking new tasks and districts along the way, which adds to the interest of the game.
Because it was early access, there were occasional visual glitches, and the car accidents aren't always accurate (for example, she'll be on-scene and then another car will come and crash into it, or the impact and the scene of the accident don't match) but that hasn't really distracted her game play too much, and she plans to keep playing it! She also wishes there was a multi-player option on the same device, but overall, it's been a fun game for her.
