The Used’s frontman Bert McCracken is releasing his debut pop album under his solo project, robbietheused, out Friday, October 25.
robbietheused the LP, is a look right into the state of robbietheused’s mental health throughout the process creating this record. With a lifelong passion for pop music, robbietheused merges his alternative rock upbringing by working with producer John Feldmann. Pre-save it here.
Given that the two have been known collaborators for decades, it wasn’t a stretch for Feldmann and robbie focus on pop-oriented songs. In fact, this camaraderie led to adventurous sound explorations, such as incorporating heavy bass undertones, special effects and vocoders. Check out his latest singles, “Terrible” and “The Feels.”
Following the release of the record, robbietheused will be on a limited 5 stop fall tour kicking off on October 30 in Anaheim, CA, followed by shows in major cities: Los Angeles, Philadelphia and New York City. The tour will wrap up on November 5 in Asbury Park, NJ. He will also be available for press at When We Were Young this October.
