I recently had a chance to read The ABCs of Women’s History. I definitely enjoyed it. Even though my kids are teens, my older one also really liked the book (my younger one did too, but doesn't get as interested in the topic).
The book covers a lot of ground, including Title IX, specific movements, and individual figures. It does a good job of showcasing diversity as well, celebrating amazing female firsts and other aspect of women's history. It's a hopeful book, and for our family, inspired some deeper dives into the lives of women that we hadn't always heard much about. It would make a great addition to any home or school bookshelf.
