Parenting Pointers - Time Spent Attending Kids' Events

 It's no secret that parents are torn in many directions when it comes to how they spend their time. Whether they're helping their children with homework or simply reading a book, core memories are being built.

In a new study, Preply breaks down how much time parents in America spend doing a variety of things with and for their children.

Key findings:

• The average parent nationwide spends about 704 hours per year attending events for or with their children.
• The average parent nationwide spends about 3 hours per day (1,074 hours/year) caring for/helping their children.
• The #2 most common activity parents do with their kids each day is homeschooling.
• Parents in Delaware, Nebraska, and North Dakota spend the most time with their kids on average.
