It's no secret that parents are torn in many directions when it comes to how they spend their time. Whether they're helping their children with homework or simply reading a book, core memories are being built.
In a new study, Preply breaks down how much time parents in America spend doing a variety of things with and for their children.
Key findings:
- The average parent nationwide spends about 704 hours per year attending events for or with their children.
- The average parent nationwide spends about 3 hours per day (1,074 hours/year) caring for/helping their children.
- The #2 most common activity parents do with their kids each day is homeschooling.
- Parents in Delaware, Nebraska, and North Dakota spend the most time with their kids on average.
