Obviously, you could make pretty much all of these recipes without the specific Trader Joe's-branded products, but if you shop there a lot, it'll be even easier to find the ingredients for the dishes. Although Trader Joe's is a little bit pricier than some grocery stores (although not by much), these recipes still make fantastic budget-friendly alternatives to eating out. Plus, you can tweak recipes to make them healthier - and many of them already start healthier than a lot of restaurant food. The options sound fancy (like Chicken and Peppers in Creme Sauce), but don't require any special kitchen skills.
The book also has helpful information on navigating the aisles, basic cooking techniques, and substitutions, making it even more appropriate for any level of cooking experience.
