I recently had a chance to see a few spring titles from Workman Kids publishing.
Paint by Sticker Kids: Rainbows Everywhere! - I'll be honest, I like the idea of paint-by-sticker but I'm impatient. So I actually used this book. It's full of fun, bright artwork, with easy-to-use stickers and perforated pages to make it even more user-friendly. Any kid (or adult) who wants to quickly see a colorful image take shape will enjoy it.
Stories of the Saints - this is a beautifully-illustrated guide to some of the most common - and lesser-known - saints throughout history. Even though we aren't Catholic, we still love learning stories of others who have had a strong faith. This would also make a great Confirmation/First Communion gift.
Roots, Shoots, Buckets, & Boots - this is definitely a detailed guide for older kids who want to get into gardening. It has a lot of activities - some are appropriate for beginners, while others are better-suited to families who already have some garden know-how. If you love getting your kids outdoors and have some garden space for them to explore, this is a great book.
