I'm always amazed at how well the CTC can bring shows of all sizes to life. Although the cast wasn't huge, they maximized the use of the ensemble to make it feel larger than it was. The use of puppeteers for Olaf and Sven was also really fun to see.
There are still tickets left for the show, which runs through June 15th. I highly recommend the show - the size of the theater means that there are no bad seats. Word of warning, though - if you're going, plan lots of extra time for parking. They're working on repaving streets near the theater, which really impacts parking availability. We planned a full half hour - usually enough to find parking and get to the theater with 15 minutes to spare - and this time we got in our seats with only a few minutes to spare.
Nominated for three Tony Awards including “Best Musical,” Disney’s Frozen features music and lyrics by Academy Award-winners Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and a book by Academy Award-nominee Jennifer Lee. CTC’s production of Disney’s Frozen will be directed by Tiffany Nichole Greene, with music direction by Denise Prosek and choreography by Rush Benson. Based on the Disney film written by Jennifer Lee and directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, Disney’s Frozen was originally produced on Broadway by Disney Theatrical Productions.
