- Field Trips – Spring is considered field trip season at WonderWorks, as it is a time when school groups are welcomed to enjoy all that the upside-down lab has to offer. WonderWorks provides lots of hands-on experiences in topics that students are learning about in the classroom. This gives teachers a chance to enhance their students’ learning and amplify their curriculum. It’s not too late to plan a field trip for this school year, which can be done online.
- Library Partnership – To celebrate National Library Week, World Book Day, and spring break all in one, WonderWorks Destiny has partnered with the Onondaga County Public Libraries (OCPL). From April 14-18, 2025, young readers can stop by the OCPL table at several local spring break events and claim a free admission ticket to WonderWorks when they sign up for a library card. The ticket will be provided at the event and will need to be presented along with the library card when being redeemed at WonderWorks. Spring is a great time to support local libraries and dive into the wonders of reading!
- Teacher Appreciation – WonderWorks is excited to bring back their annual Teacher Appreciation Days in May 2025. This will provide all teachers and education support staff the ability to visit WonderWorks for free throughout the month, and bring up to four guests for a discounted rate. This great deal is their way of saying “thank you” for all that educators do to keep the next generation inspired to become creatives, scientists, and leaders.
